What’s worse than being a total people pleaser? Feeling all dazed, like a human without conviction. Trying so hard to fit in society, finding it hard to refuse the requests of others, while overthinking if it isn’t successful to please everyone, all throughout.
Hi, nice to meet you! I want you to know, I’m a mirrorball. It’s just the collections of broken mirror shards, but the beautiful things are the rays of light that emitted. It’s used to entertain many people on the dance floor. Graciously allow others to shine bright without even realizing that its messed up and was stranded in the darkest of the night.
I have never been myself. I can change everything about me to fit into the environment I am currently in. Having diverse versions, thus unfamiliar with my original form. I don’t care. As long as I accepted. Please believe that my attention isn’t falsity
A few moments later, I realized that the party was over, burned the disco down. But I’m still on my tallest tiptoes. Spinning in my highest heels to shine just for you. I’ll give you all my best and try to not leave you behind. Even though you’re not like the regulars and just the masquerade revealers.
However, despite all the efforts I made, I’m just a human being, after all. Though I am above that tightrope, and continue to get they are laughing as well as keeping attention from them. But in the end, I’ll never be enough even if I’ve tried so hard. I could never be good enough to meet other’s expectations.
As I know being in this phase was not easy. I’m still a believer, but I don’t know what the reason is exactly. And to be honest I don’t even understand why I keep believing in these meaningless pursuits and have never really been natural. But, no matter how difficult it is, all I do is try, try, try.
